DMA Music STARS Performance in Universal Studios 2022
November 19-23, 2022
The cadets depart on Saturday, November 19th and arrive in Orlando on Sunday, November 20th. The cadets will eat breakfast before entering Universal Studios on Sunday. The cadets will have 2 days in Universal and 1 day in a Disney Park. Monday, November 21st, the cadets will be highlighted in a march through Universal Studios! The bus will depart Orlando on Tuesday, November 22nd in the late evening and return to DMA on Wednesday, November 23rd.

Cadet Cost to attend Orlando - $640!
The price includes 2 Universal tickets, 1 Disney Park ticket, a 2-night stay (4 cadets to a room),
10 Meals while on the trip ($250), trip t-shirts, and bus transportation.
This price doesn't include any spending money while on the trip.
ALL CADETS ARE REQUIRED TO RIDE THE BUS TO ORLANDO.
There will be no price adjustments for a cadet if they plan to
stay with their family in Orlando at the conclusion of the trip.

Saturday, November 19th – Departure Day
- 1:15 pm: Report to music room-load bus
- 2:00 pm: Depart DMA
- 6:00 pm: Fast Food Dinner - VA Exit 92 on I-95 (Ashland, VA)
- Park behind Wendy’s
- Wendy’s and Chick-fil-A Options
- This is the only meal not covered by your trip cost!
- 7:00 pm: Drive into the night….
Sunday, November 20th – Arrival and Day 1 in Parks
- 7:30 am: Breakfast- Golden Corral- International Drive
- 8032 International Drive, Orlando, FL 32819
- Eat, freshen up and change for the day in Universal (cadets will wear a DMA Music shirt)
- 8:30 am: Depart for Universal Studios
- 9:00 am: Arrive at Universal, get squared away, and head in!
- 12:00 pm: Cadets should have lunch in the park using their meal cards!
- 5:00 pm: Cadets should have dinner in the park using their meal cards!
- 7:00 pm: Leave the park for hotel check-in

- Upon arrival, cadets will get checked in, and settled into their rooms

Monday, November 21st – Universal Studios Performance and Day 2 in Parks
- TENTATIVE TIMES
- 8:00 am: Wake up call, dress in uniform for performance, pack drawstring bag for the day with a change of clothes, DMA t-shirt for the day, etc.
- 9:00 am: Breakfast – TBD (Starbucks and Beach Break Café)
- 9:45 am: Dressed in uniform for parade- load bus
- 10:00 am: depart for STARS Performance in Universal!
- 11:00 am: arrive at Universal Studios to set up for performance
- As the parade ends cadets will change into casual clothes
- Cadets will enter park from backstage and coach bus will return to the hotel
- Cadets are responsible for LUNCH and DINNER in the PARK
- 9:00pm: Meet to head back to the hotel.
- 11:00pm: Lights out!!
- 8:00 am: wake up call, Pack up your stuff **cadets will wear their final trip shirt**
- 8:45 am: Load coach bus with everything you don’t need for the day
- 9:00 am: Breakfast at the hotel.
- 10:00 am: Get over to the chosen park!
- Eat Lunch and dinner in the park!
- 8:00 pm: Muster for fireworks or whatever evening spectacular there is.
- 9:30 pm: Depart Disney…Load the bus
- Cadets going with family should set up meeting at Bus location for hand-off (TBD)
- 10:00 pm: Drive into the night…..
- 9:00 am: Stop for Breakfast
- 10:00 am: Back on the road!
- 2:00 pm: Arrive back at DMA!
